Disney Toon Studio, a 3D cartoon
Walt Disney Studios Park grows with the June debut of Crush’s Coaster and Cars Race Rally as part of the new Toon Studio. This colorful area transforms the Park’s Animation Courtyard into a lively “studio backlot” that playfully pays tribute to the art of animation.

Crush’s Coaster is the first coaster-based attraction inspired by the Disney-Pixar film
“Finding Nemo.” Guests climb aboard a turtle shell and plunge into the thrilling world of Nemo and
his turtle friend Crush, with sophisticated show lighting, sound effects and imaging technology
creating a whimsical whirl through the East Australian current.
“Disney has always been known for creative storytelling, and Crush’s Coaster takes
immersive storytelling to the next level,” said Tom Fitzgerald, executive vice president and senior
creative executive, Walt Disney Imagineering. “Imagineers are pushing the boundaries of technology
to bring the worlds and characters of ‘Finding Nemo’ to life in incredible, three-dimensional ways.”
 Also premiering in June is Cars Race Rally, the first Disney Park attraction based on the Disney-Pixar film “Cars.” Guests of all ages climb aboard for a zany spinning ride on the famous
Route 66, created with dimensional movie sets. At each corner of the track, famous faces from the
film are waiting to cheer on drivers. As the rocky desert landscape whizzes past and the canyon walls
spiral around, your car crosses the finish line.
The art of animation according to Disney
An immense cap of sorcerer's apprentice resulting from the Fantasia film caps attraction the art of animation according to Disney. Animation was always the cornerstone of the Disney universe. This interactive attraction pays homage to this so particular art and reveals its secrecies.
Animagique
Animagique is an innovative spectacle, created in particular for the park Walt Disney Studios, which pays homage to the long measurings of animation produced by the studios disney. thanks to giant puppets, fluorescent lightings, and many special effects, the witnesses is plunged in a drawing animated in three dimensions and côtolent Mickey, Donald, the pink elephants of Dumbo, the characters of Pinocchio, and those of the Book of the Jungle and King Lion. a great moment to laugh and at escape for all the family!
Animagique employs a technique of handling of called Japanese origin "Bunraku". Several manipulators animate puppets of big size by means of stems. These stems are made up of carbon fibres, a resistant and light material. They make it possible to handle characters of big size of only one hand, with a greater dexterity.
The spectacle is also inspired by the tradition of the " theatre of black light " of Prague. Thanks to fluorescent lightings, the marionnettists vêtus of black are invisible while the colors sharp of the characters become luminous. The usual perception of space is modified and the puppets can go, leap, float and even fly above the public.
The 17 manipulators of Animagique underwent an extremely thorough drive to coordinate and synchronize their epic in the absolute black. They in particular followed courses of Tal-chi to refine their perception of space. The most sophisticated puppet spectacle is that of Donald. It is animated simultaneously by four manipulators. The machinery of the Animagique spectacle is controlled by a computer able to manage all the spectacle: audio, light and machinery, except for the second, which makes it possible to obtain the same precision as an attraction and to repeat unrolled each spectacle with identical the 12 times per day.

This shop is located inside the giant cap of sorcerer's apprentice of the Art of animation according to Disney. One finds there a series of objects of collection, figurines of Walt Disney Classic Collection, resin statuettes, pounds or a selection of " cellulos " in an upholstered decoration which gives to this shop the pace of an ECRIN.
Mickey and Minnie, meet the stars!
The visitors have the advisability of meeting Mickey and Minnie and of being made photograph in their company throughout the day, in the slides of their place of turning.
